Beth Munro, working in Printmaking

I’ve been living in South East Cornwall and working in Plymouth and the surrounding area for the last 15 yrs. In that time I have become increasingly preoccupied with the landscapes and seascapes that characterize this area and the flora and fauna that inhabit them. Some of my work reflects my interest in the relationships we humans form with the natural world, both successful and endangering. Currently, I am particularly interested in the diversity of wildlife that lives on the shoreline, in the rockpools and further out in the deep ocean. I work predominately as a printmaker using etching, drypoint, linocut and collagraph.
